WEST Mercia Police has said officers were called to Worcester Foregate Street Station on Friday evening, (January 20), following reports of an altercation.
A statement has now been issued by the force which said: "We were called at around 7.50pm last night to a report of an altercation at Foregate Street Railway Station.
"The incident is now being dealt with by British Transport Police."
No further details have been provided.
We have asked West Mercia Police if any arrests were made following the incident.
We have previously contacted British Transport Police for comment.

As previously reported a number of police cars were seen outside the station.
A Network Rail response van was also spotted in the area.
Trains after 9pm were unaffected by the incident.
