SPEEDING drivers have been caught breaking the limit in Worcestershire villages by police with cameras.

Officers from West Mercia Police were out in Drakes Broughton and Upton Snodsbury on Thursday (January 19).

Tickets were handed out to those drivers caught speeding as officers were urging people to slow down. 

Pershore police said: "Yesterday police performed a speed enforcement operation in and around Drakes Broughton and Upton Snodsbury. 

"Plenty of advice was given out and drivers exceeding the speed limit were given speeding tickets with the hope of making them think twice about their speed."
