A 32-YEAR-old woman accused of assaulting an emergency worker has had her trial adjourned.
Laura Jeynes, of Main Road, Ombersley, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (January 17).
Jeynes was set to stand trial on two charges.
She is accused of failing to provide a specimen for analysis on July 10 last year, and assault by beating of PC Newton on July 10 last year.
At the start of the hearing Judith Kenney, defending Jeynes, asked for the trial to be vacated.

Mrs Kenney explained she was requesting an adjournment for a medical report which potentially would provide Jeynes a defence to the charges.

Andrew Mitchinson, prosecuting, made no submissions.
After magistrates granted the adjournment Jeynes was told to attend the trial that was scheduled for May 12.
