Drivers are stuck in long queues of traffic on a main road into Worcester this morning (Tuesday).
Long queues are backing up on the A449 after the exit from Ombersley as a lane is closed for Highways work.
Officers put out an urgent message after the manhole cover became displaced.
Worcestershire County Council Highways team will be carrying out repairs on the carriageway.
