A PEDESTRIAN suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car while crossing a road in a Worcestershire village.

The crash took place on the A443 between Little Witley and Holt Heath on Friday (January 13) at around 5.50pm.

Police say the incident involved one vehicle and a pedestrian.

A blue Porsche was travelling between Little Witley and Holt Heath on the A443 and the pedestrian was crossing the road near to the junction with Well Road when the crash happened.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.

"We would like to speak to any drivers that have dash-cam fitted to their vehicles or any other witnesses that were travelling in either direction between the two locations on the A443."
