A CAR stranded in rising water has still not been moved in Worcester despite an urgent appeal for the owner.
A desperate search was launched to trace the owner of a Renault Clio parked on Grandstand Road, by the racecourse, so it could be moved before it is damaged by floodwater.
Police were trying to contact the registered keeper of the car as the road is severely flooded after the River Severn burst its banks.

On Sunday, Worcestershire County Council's Highways and Travel team said: "If this is your vehicle parked in Grandstand Road, Worcester, you're running out of time to move it.
"Police are trying to contact the registered keeper."
Grandstand Road remains closed to traffic due to the rising water levels, but Sabrina Bridge is open for pedestrians and cyclists.
