A WORCESTER man has been warned there is no promise he will avoid jail as a judge adjourned his case for a psychiatric report.
Samuel Blackwell, of Court Gardens, Kempsey, Worcester, appeared on videolink to Worcester Crown Court on Monday, (January 9).
He spoke only to confirm his name and that he had been convicted of five charges at Kidderminster Magistrates Court last November.
Blackwell is to be sentenced for criminal damage to property; assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of making threats to kill and sending a letter/communication /article conveying a threatening message.
The offences all took place between September 1 and October 11 last year.
Amber Morrell, defending Blackwell, told the court she was not satisfied with the pre-sentence report, and was requesting a psychiatric report be done on the 21-year-old.
