A WORCESTER man will face a harassment trial in the spring.
Daniel O'Donnell, of Park Avenue, Worcester, denied one count of putting a person in fear of violence by harassment, when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Friday, (January 6).
The count against the 27-year-old reads: "Between November 24, 2021, and April 14, 2022, caused (the victim) to fear that violence would be used against her by his course of conduct which he knew or ought to have known would cause fear of violence to (the victim) on each occasion.
"In that he repeatedly contacted her, threatened her with violence, physically injured her, shouted at her and exercised control over her."
During the short hearing, Judge Nicholas Cole told the defendant he would need to return to the court for a pre-trial of the case on March 27, before his trial which is set to take place in the week beginning April 17.
O'Donnell's conditional bail, which includes a curfew, was renewed by the judge.
