A POPULAR Christmas light display near Worcester raised over £1,000 for charity in its final year.
Mick and Norma Gale, of Rushwick, have been operating Santas Garden for the last 20 years in aid of The Midlands Air Ambulance.
This Christmas was the final year that Mr and Mrs Gale were running the display in its entirety due to the rising bills caused by the cost of living crisis.
This year, the couple raised a total of £1203 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Mr Gale said: "Santa's Garden Christmas lights are now switched off and put away for another year.
"We hope you have all had a super Christmas and we hope that Santa brought you all that you asked for.
"We want to thank everyone who has been down to see us and donated either in the garden or via post or our JustGiving page for The Midlands Air Ambulance this year."
This year's display first opened on Saturday, December 17 at 6pm, and Mr Gale confirmed that it will sadly be the last year due to the rising cost of living.

In December 2022, Mr Gale said: "We have been doing this for the last 20 years and have loved every minute, but with the state of how things are at the moment with bills it will be the last year.
"I am also set to turn 74 next year and climbing all those ladders isn't as easy as it used to be.
"Next year we will still have some lights up but they will just be in the front garden."
The front of the house was covered in a variety of decorations, and a large inflatable Santa Claus greeted passers-by.
This year's display in the back garden featured inflatables such as a reindeer, snowmen, a Christmas tree, a penguin and Santa Claus in a plane.
