THE city centre's new year celebrations went off peacefully with no serious incidents reported to the police on New Year's Eve.
People celebrating the New Year "enjoyed themselves safely" according to West Mercia Police force.
Although police described the night as busy, nobody was arrested in the city centre.

Police officers patrolling the city centre said people were enjoying the celebrations and officers even engaged with the people who were out celebrating.
West Mercia chief constable Pippa Mills and superintendent for south Worcestershire Rebecca Love joined police officers in the city centre.
A spokesperson from the West Mercia Police said: "They enjoyed engaging with those out celebrating."
