POLICE have revealed why they were called to a busy city roundabout on New Year's Eve (Saturday).
Police officers and a car on blue lights were stopped next tro a car on the A4440 Whittington roundabout at around 4.15pm.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said officers were responding to a "distressed driver out of their car".

They said: "Patrol officers happened to spot a distressed driver out of their car at the roundabout and stopped to ensure their safety.
"There was no collision or injuries and no further investigation."
An eyewitness said at the time: "There were three cars stopped at the side of the roundabout and a police car with blue lights."
