Punters will be able to enjoy pints for under a £1 at pubs across Worcester - just as one is set to close for good.
National pub chain Wetherspoons has announced a January sale, which will see booze for bargain prices at two Worcester pubs.
Managers at the Postal Order on Foregate Street and The Crown in Crown Passage will be reducing the price of drinks and meals from today (Tuesday, January 3).
The Postal Order manager, Robert Deeming, said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.
"The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed a suiting a wide variety of tastes.
"This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
"I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.
"As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."

The sale has come just in time for the Postal Order, which is set to close for good on Sunday, January 8.
Having spent over a year on the market, Wetherspoons announced the impending closure last month although it is not yet known what the city venue will become.
Eddie Gershon, who is the spokesperson for the pub chain, said: "The pub will open on January 8 – that will be its final day."
Worcester News readers have shared their sadness at the impending closure as well as memories from drinking at the pub.
Sharon Grubb said: "We had a brilliant afternoon on the Saturday Tom Jones was in Worcester several Welsh men started singing had the whole pub singing with them absolutely brilliant."
Linda Rowberry said: "I shall miss this place and all the lovely friendly staff who l class as friends."
Meanwhile, the January sale will continue at The Crown up until and including Tuesday, January 17.
Drinks featured in the sale include a range of draught beers and ciders, spirits, soft drinks, and coffee.
A pint of Ruddles Best will set you back just 99p, as will a 25ml measure of Bell’s Whisky with a mixer, a bottle of Beck’s Blue, and the unlimited refill coffees.
Other drink deals include a Bud Light or Stowford Press apple cider for £1.69 and a pint of Guinness for £2.89.
