THREE men and one teenager have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on Boxing Day (Monday).
Officers arrested a 17-year-old and three men aged 18, 18, and 29 from a vehicle at Cranham Drive at around 12.45pm after receiving reports of disorder.
The men, who are all from Worcester, will remain in police custody as investigations continue.
West Mercia Police officers have reassured residents who saw a large police presence in their neighbourhood earlier today and said there is not a wider threat to the community.
Inspector Dan Poucher said: "Residents of Cranham Drive may have noticed an unusual police presence this afternoon while we conducted a thorough search of the area.
"I’d like to reassure residents that we don’t believe there is any wider threat to the community.
“Arrests were swiftly made and we have increased patrols in the area while our investigations continue.”
