A cottage thought to be one of the oldest properties in Worcester has been put up for sale.
Tudor Cottage, a Grade II listed property in Fish Street in the city centre, is on the market for a guide price of £300,000.
Estate agents Keller Williams say the black and white house has all the character and charm you’d expect of a property that dates back to 1400.
It even boasts views of an even older building - Worcester Cathedral.
“The property requires full modernisation but retains an array of original features including wall and ceiling beams and a beautiful central staircase,” the estate agents said.
“The accommodation comprises an entrance hall, two reception rooms, both with fireplaces, a lean-to with access to the kitchen, and a spacious cellar.
“To the first floor are two double bedrooms and a walk-in storage cupboard on the landing. To the second floor is another double bedroom and a spacious bathroom. Some of the rooms enjoy a beautiful view of Worcester Cathedral.”
There is a small courtyard garden area at the back of the house.
And while there is no private parking, Keller Williams says there is the option to rent a long-term parking space nearby.
According to Historic England, the building was first listed in 1954.
