A FARE dodger has been prosecuted at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Maciej Ceglowski, of Astwood Road, Worcester, arrived at Worcester Shrub Hill having travelled from Evesham on a Great Western railway service, without paying for a ticket.
Ceglowski committed the crime on June 24 this year, magistrates heard.
The 35-year-old was challenged by an inspector and, as he tried to interview him, he walked away saying "I want to go".
Ceglowski was fined £440, and ordered to pay compensation of £9.10 - the cost of the ticket.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £180, and victim surcharge of £176 - a total of £805.10
The case was heard at the court on Friday, (December 16).
