HERE are the latest cases heard at Worcester Magistrates Court. 

 

John Copson has warned he could face jail for threatening to hit someone over the head with a Prosecco bottle and using racist abuse in the incident at Tesco Express in London Road, in October this year. 

The 51-year-old, of Lansdowne Road, Worcester, also shouted: "I'm not scared of prison, I will go back", before throwing a fire extinguisher. 

Magistrates ordered a pre-sentence 'all options' report.

A MAN who denies threatening to petrol bomb a property will face a trial next year.

Jason Bridger, 36, of Canterbury Road, Ronkswood, denies making a threat to damage, destroy property, criminal damage and assault a person occasioning them actual bodily harm.

Bridger also denies assault by beating and using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoking unlawful violence.

A MAN drank and drove because he had no gravy for his meal, a court heard.

Paul Worrall, of Fielden Row, Worcester, had also been accused of reversing into a vehicle before being arrested on November 26 this year. 

Worrall admitted drink driving when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on December 15. 

Magistrates gave Worrall a 12-month ban warning him if he drove on a public road in that period he would risk going to prison.

A MAN has admitted stalking, but denies racially aggravated stalking of a victim. 

Joshua Charters, of Drovers Way, Worcester, pleaded guilty to stalking the victim between May 12 and August 15 this year. 

The 31-year-old denied the racially aggravated stalking charge when it was put to him. 

Charters has been told to attend a trial in the new year.

A WOMAN stole from Superdrug to raise money for alcohol city magistrates heard. 

Jennifer Pooler, who has a "lengthy record of offending", told Worcester Magistrates Court she was trying to turn her life around after issues with binge drinking. 

The 48-year-old, of St Paul's Hostel, Tallow Hill, Worcester, told magistrates the crime was a "stupid thing to do". 

Magistrates ordered Pooler pay a straight compensation order that requires Pooler pay back £100 to the retailer.
