A NEW weather warning has been issued for Worcestershire this weekend.
According to the Met Office, the county has been warned of icy conditions set to cause travel disruption.
The weather warning covers Worcester, Evesham, Malvern and surrounding areas.
Ledbury is also affected by the weather warning.
The Met Office is warning that some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are to be expected due to the weather conditions.
Icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths and disruption to air and rail services could also be experienced on the day.
There is also a warning for snow and ice affecting other areas of the country, with Bromyard and other areas in Herefordshire set to be affected.

Warmer weather is set to hit Worcester next week after the recent ice and snow warnings, according to the Met Office.
While it may not be warm enough to enjoy a winter barbecue, Worcester will see temperatures of 14C on Monday (December 19).
Sunday could potentially see some snow but the temperature is predicted to be around 10C.
The drastic change in weather conditions comes after consistently icy mornings and patches of snow across the county.
This morning (Thursday) started with some freezing fog patches, but the rest of the day is expected to be bright and sunny.
The cold will still be felt with temperatures currently below average for December, and a maximum temperature today of 3C.
Tonight will see clear skies and a plummet in temperature leading to a hard frost and some freezing fog patches.
The minimum temperature is expected to reach -7C.
