AFTER the Arctic Blast brought in minus temperatures and flurries of snow there is a change of pace next week.

Warmer weather is set to hit Worcester next week after the recent ice and snow warnings, according to the Met Office.

While it may not be warm enough to enjoy a winter barbecue, Worcester will see temperatures of 14C on Monday (December 19).

Sunday could potentially see some snow but the temperature is predicted to be around 10C.

The drastic change in weather conditions comes after consistently icy mornings and patches of snow across the county.

This morning (Thursday, December 15) started with some freezing fog patches, but the rest of the day is expected to be bright and sunny.

The cold will still be felt with temperatures still currently below average for December, and a maximum temperature today of 3C.

The minimum temperature is expected to reach -7C.

On Friday (December 16), some lingering freezing fog patches are expected throughout the morning, but some sunny spells will also be seen.

It is expected to be cloudier than Thursday, with a maximum temperature of 3C.

On Saturday, it will be cold and cloudy though mostly dry, with a spell of snow still likely early on Sunday. This is said to be quickly followed by rain.

On Monday, the weather will become far milder, with cloudy skies and some rain expected, but highs of 14C.
