A MAN is to face a trial for making a threat to kill. 

Lee Taylor told magistrates "I didn't do it" at the latest hearing of his case at Worcester Magistrates Court on Monday, (December 12). 

The 32-year-old, of Scotland Place, Tenbury Well, denies making the threat to George Smith at the Abbeydore Guest House, Worcester, on October 15 this year. 

His trial was due to go ahead on Monday, but after prosecution witnesses did not attend magistrates decided to adjourn his case.

When Taylor was told his trial will take place next year he told magistrates "I didn't even do it".

Susan Mitchell, chairman of the magistrates bench, said they would let the comment go adding: "We realise this is difficult for you". 

Taylor was told to attend his trial which was scheduled for the afternoon of February 27 next year. 

Taylor was told he has conditional bail, the conditions being he must not contact the prosecution witnesses and he must live at the address given to the court.
