SPORTING events are being called off due to the freezing conditions sweeping across the country on Saturday.
Worcester Warriors Women's Allianz Premier 15s clash with Bristol Bears Women at Sixways has been called off, as well as Kidderminster Harriers National League North fixture with Blyth Spartans.
Evesham United's Southern League Division One contest at Willand Rovers failed a pitch inspection on morning (Saturday) and Worcester City's home fixture with Shifnal Town has suffered the same fate.

Stourport Swifts' MFL Premier tie with Wolverhampton Casuals has been cancelled, as well as Bewdley Town's game at Highgate United. Droitwich SPA vs Wolverhampton Sporting is also off.
The Southern League Premier clash between Alvechurch and Stourbridge has also failed to survive a pitch inspection.
The racing meet at Hereford racecourse has been cancelled, as well as three others around the country.
Rugby has also struggled to deal with the freezing conditions with Malvern's home clash with Walsall in the Regional 2 West Midlands becoming the first to bite the dust.

Droitwich vs Worcester RFC and Evesham vs Crewe & Nantwich in the same league have also been postponed.
