A car has crashed through a safety barrier along a busy road.
A blue Renault was left blocking a path following a crash on the A4440.
The car ended up going through a barrier by the roundabout of Whittington Road and Swinesherd Way shortly after 4pm on Thursday, December 8.
Another car could also be seen pulled up on the side of the main road.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene but did not attend.
A WMAS spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision at the junction of Whittington Road and Swinesherd Way in Whittington.
"Prior to our arrival we were stood down by the police as our assistance was no longer required.”
West Mercia Police officers at the scene had placed cones around the area, blocking a lane on Swinesherd Way.
This resulted in queuing traffic along Whittington Way, building back as far as the BP Garage at the junction with London Road.
