A 23-year-old man has appeared in court charged with rape.
Thomas Hewitt did not indicate a plea when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester today (Thursday).
The alleged rape is said to have occurred in Malvern between October 7 and 9, 2020. He was represented at the short administrative hearing by Barry Newton.
The defendant of Worcester Road, Kidderminster, was told the next hearing would be at Worcester Crown Court at 10am on January 12 next year.
He was granted unconditional bail and told to be at the court by 9.15am.
