One neighbour, who declined to be named, described the woman as 'the neighbour from hell' and branded her 'out of control'.

We have previously reported how there was a large police response after a woman was reported to be self-harming with a knife in the summer.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said at the time: "She was not detained in custody and there is no onward investigation or prosecution."

Now a letter saying 'enough is enough' has been circulated among residents telling them to call Citizen Housing - the woman's landlord - about any further problems.

The letter names the woman identified as being responsible for the bad behaviour, saying she is 'abusing alcohol and drugs' and also makes reference to abusive behaviour by her boyfriend.

Inspector Tanya Beckett, who heads the South Worcestershire Problem Solving Team, said: “Our local teams regularly review cases where individuals are highlighted for causing issues for communities and we met on Friday, November 30 with our partners to address some key community concerns.

"What I will say to residents in and around Michael Tippett Drive is that we are aware of your concerns, and we are in the process of introducing measures that will curb the behaviour of those causing the most distress as well as continuing to provide a visible presence in the area.”

Another resident, who declined to be named, called for the woman to be evicted saying: "She is out of control and nothing is being done about it.

"There are a few of us who want her evicted but the housing association keep giving her chances."

A spokesperson for Citizen said: “We are aware of reports of anti-social behaviour at Michael Tippet Drive in Worcester, and we are working with the police and relevant agencies.

“We are also in regular contact with residents living in Michael Tippet Drive and we will be providing them with updates.”

One resident has written to Citizen about the problems.

He said: "Residents’ flat buzzers are regularly being pressed by the occupants of one of the flats. Unfortunately, this occurred twice at night earlier this week after midnight and after 2am. This is not the first time."

He confirmed the police came to Michael Tippet Drive on Sunday, November 27 to visit her flat with quite a few officers 'and not for the first time'.

He said: "I can fully appreciate that the elderly and more vulnerable residents at the flats are feeling very intimidated and scared due to this behaviour.

"It would not surprise me if, in time, this escalates into something more serious.

"That is probably my concern more than anything. What is Citizen Housing doing about this, may I ask?"
