A WORCESTERSHIRE steak restaurant has teased a look inside its highly anticipated new location.

Ounce Bar and Kitchen, of The Tything, announced earlier this year that it is opening a new location in Bishampton this December.

The restaurant is moving into The Dolphin Inn pub, on Main Street, which announced it had closed on Tuesday, September 27 this year.

The new location, between Worcester and Evesham, is hoping to open its doors to the public on Thursday, December 15. 

On social media, a picture has been posted of the new interior which has been well received by eager fans of the business.

The picture shows teal-coloured walls with decorative animal heads overlooking the tables.

Alongside the image is a caption saying "a sneak peek of Bishampton, just two weeks to go."

Brad Pace, general manager of Ounce Bar and Kitchen at The Tything, said the atmosphere amongst the team is "absolutely buzzing" ahead of the new opening.

He said: "It is so nice to see how well the business is doing and all of us here at Ounce are absolutely buzzing to get the new location open.

"It has been a hard graft put to see it paying dividends is amazing and we are all very excited for the future."

Ounce proved popular in the city for its Tuesday and Wednesday special offers where steaks are available for £1 every ounce.

It was confirmed on social media that the popular special offers will also be seen at the new location in Bishampton.

The restaurant serves is renowned for serving steaks with customers able to choose a cut of their choice by the ounce.

Ounce Bar and Kitchen has 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor and is rated 28th out of 228 restaurants in Worcester.

Earlier this year, Ounce Bar and Kitchen was also awarded the coveted Prestige Award for the central England region.
