A 71-YEAR-old has denied arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.

Rohan Holden-Baker, of Oak View Way, Worcester, entered no plea to three charges when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, (November 30). 

It is alleged Holden-Baker committed arson and damaged a hallway carpet, valued at £2,000, belonging to Sanctuary Housing.

Holden-Baker is also facing a charge of threatening to damage/destroy property and criminal damage.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between November 28 and November 31 this year at Noble House in Worcester. 

Holden-Baker was told the next hearing of his case will take place at Worcester Crown Court on December 3.
