TWO men have been arrested following a break-in at a Worcester showroom during which high-value cars were stolen.

The first break-in happened at Marshall Hyundai in the Everoak Industrial Estate, Bromyard Road, St John's, Worcester, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The suspects, who it is believed stole keys during the first burglary, returned to the showroom on Monday at around 10pm, carrying out a second raid.

Two new Hyundai cars (SUVs), including a 2021 plate valued at around £28,000, were stolen between 3am and 5am. One vehicle was recovered in a damaged state a short distance away and the other in Little Witley, near Worcester.

"The first car stolen was used to destroy the security bollards at the Hyundai garage and drive the other car out," said a police spokesperson. 

During the second burglary at around 10pm on Monday six laptops, two iPads, a  Fire TV Cube, a camera, some reading glasses and a torch were stolen. Police have now recovered the majority of the stolen property.

Two men from Worcester were arrested and have been bailed and curfewed while officers continue to make enquiries.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of burglary pending forensic and digital investigations.
