NO ARRESTS have been made after police were called to an incident at a city supermarket.
Officers arrived at Waitrose on London Road, Worcester at around 1.45pm after receiving reports of a theft.
It is believed police were called after security guards allegedly caught a shoplifter trying to steal bottles of alcohol.
A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: "Officers were called to Waitrose on London Road at around 1.45pm today (Wednesday 30 November) following reports of a theft.
"No arrests were made."
