OWNERS of a new dog-friendly Greek café in Worcester were happy to see regular customers and new faces on its opening day.
The Sweet Greeks, on Mealcheapen Street, in Worcester City Centre, had their grand opening on Monday (November 28).
The cafe is serving a variety of homemade Mediterranean desserts, pastries and other foods and drinks.
The owners said a lot of hard work had gone into preparation behind the scenes ready for the big day
The owners said: "It has been a great start. We are so pleased to see our cafe up and running after all this time.
"We have been working every day for 12-15 hours so we can transform the cafe to what we thought our customers and us would like.
"We are also happy to see all our regulars back and new customers too."
The business was set up during lockdown by friends Arion Zouliatis and Spiros Derezeletof.
The two men, who moved to Worcester from Greece, base their menu on old family recipes and make all of their desserts fresh each day.
The business formerly sold its products from a gazebo outside St Swithun's Church on The Shambles but moved into the old Clockwatchers Cafe and Bistro building earlier this year.
