A MALVERN teenager who admitted assault has been ordered to do unpaid work.
John Hulland pleaded guilty to assault by beating on the day of his expected trial at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Magistrates heard the 19-year-old assaulted the victim on September 3 this year.
Hulland, of Baxters Walk, Malvern and previously of Bradbury Lane, Cannock, Staffordshire, was given a one-year community order requiring him to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Hulland was also told to pay costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £114.
Magistrates agreed the total, £344, could be paid at a rate of £20 per month.
