A NEW Greek cafe in Worcester city centre opened its doors to customers today (Monday).
The Sweet Greeks, in Mealcheapen Street, is serving a variety of homemade Mediterranean desserts, pastries and other foods and drinks.
The business formerly sold its products from a gazebo outside St Swithun's Church on The Shambles but moved into the old Clockwatchers Cafe and Bistro building earlier this year.
The business is fully decorated on the exterior with turquoise paint, and The Sweet Greeks Cafe logo.
A chalkboard outside the business also tells customers some of the items they can order inside, as well as confirming the cafe is dog-friendly.
The owners posted a message on Instagram this morning reminding followers of its anticipated opening.

They said: "Hi everyone. Our cafe is ready and we can't wait to welcome all our lovely customers.
"See you all from 8am for a coffee and some delicious food."
Pictures were posted of the business' new interior on Facebook, with indoor and outdoor seating provided.
Decorative plants, wooden furniture chalk menu boards can also be seen in the pictures.
The news of the business opening on Monday, November 28 saw 200 likes and lots of comments wishing the owners well and people saying they were excited to visit.
The business is open from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
The Sweet Greeks was set up during lockdown by friends Arion Zouliatis and Spiros Derezeletof.
The two men, who moved to Worcester from Greece, base their menu on old family recipes and make all of their desserts fresh each day.

Last year, the business announced a partnership with city restaurant Valentino’s that saw The Sweet Greeks supplying a range of desserts to the Foregate eatery.
The cafe is the latest to open in Worcester City Centre this year, with other new cafes and restaurants including Spin The Black Circle, Mooboo Bubble Tea and Chamberlains.
