A WOMAN has been arrested on the suspicion of drunk driving after a crash outside a school. 

The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after the crash on Upper Tything.

Police arrived at the Tything just after 6am when they received reports of a car crash. 

The road just outside RGS Worcester was briefly closed while debris from the damaged car was removed following the crash in Worcester this morning (November 28).

A spokesperson from the West Mercia Police said: "We were called The Tything in Worcester at 6.15am this morning following a road traffic collision. 

"Road closures were in place for a short time while debris from a damaged vehicle was removed.

"The road is now fully re-open.

"A woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol."
