AN INJURED woman was pulled to safety from her overturned car by other drivers after a serious crash on a main dual carriageway into Worcester.
Other drivers and passengers rushed to her aid and got her safely out of the car while it was on its roof.
The crash closed the A449 southbound between Egg Lane and Blackpole for several hours from 4pm on Saturday (November 26).
The woman was not seriously hurt in the crash involving four cars, according to Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
Paramedics, firefighters and police were all at the scene before the road reopened at 4pm.

Firefighters used a Tirfor winch to upright the overturned vehicle and make the scene safe.
West Mercia Police said: "Around 4.20pm on Saturday (26 November) we received reports of a three-vehicle collision on the A449 near the Claines roundabout.
"Officers attended to support with traffic management.
"No serious injuries were reported, the driver of one vehicle attended hospital for a check-up."
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance services said: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC at the junction of the A449 and Claines Lane at 4.14pm on Saturday. One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene. On arrival, we discovered two patients.
"The driver of the overturned car, a woman, had been assisted out by other motorists and was being cared for by an off-duty nurse on our arrival.
"Ambulance staff treated her for injuries not believed to be serious before she was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. "The driver of the second car, a man, was assessed and discharged at the scene.

A spokesperson from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Worcester Fire Station were called at 4.23pm on 26 November to an RTC at Claines Island on the A449.
"The incident involved four vehicles and a Tirfor winch was used by fire service personnel to make the scene and vehicles safe.
"One female casualty was extricated from her vehicle before the arrival of fire service personnel and handed over to paramedics for assessment. "Police also attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 5.14pm."
