CRASH: Southbound carriageway closed on A449 in Claines.
A CRASH has closed a main road into Worcester.
UPDATE: The road reopened at 7.40pm.
The A449 southbound was closed entirely from Hawford (Egg Lane) to Blackpole due to a crash.
Drivers were asked to seek alternative routes following the crash at about 4.30pm.
Worcestershire Highways said: "ALERT.
"A449 southbound closed entirely from Hawford (Egg Lane) to Blackpole due to RTC - please seek alternative routes."
