PUPILS from a primary school in Worcester lined the playground to spell out the school's latest Ofsted inspection result.

And teachers and staff were left 'delighted' with its latest Ofsted report after being told the school 'required improvement' in the last inspection in 2019.
Inspectors praised senior staff members for their relentless work in making improvements since 2019.
The report said the school created a safe environment for students to talk about anything bothering them.

The report said: "Bullying is rare. When it does happen, adults deal with it quickly.
"Pupils feel safe and appreciate how much the adults at school care about them. They value teachers listening to them.
"They say they can talk to the teachers about anything that interests them or bothers them."

The school was also praised for the support given to vulnerable students and the tailored support for students given by their teachers.
The report said: "Staff have a clear understanding of the needs of individuals. Careful identification supports leaders in ensuring that vulnerable pupils and those with SEND receive tailored provisions.
“Staff adapt learning to enable all pupils to access a broad and balanced curriculum. Pupils with SEND achieve well."

Louise Norris, headteacher, said: "I am very pleased to be able to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection. I feel it is a real validation of the hard work the staff put into the school.
"It accurately reflects what we as a school feel is important: caring for the whole child and supporting every aspect of development to ensure children become independent learners who are resilient in the world.
"The staff, governors, and I are all proud to belong to the St George’s family and are pleased that our commitment to our whole community has been recognised in this way.
"Our parents have been so supportive of us throughout this process and I would like to say a thank you to them too. All our children matter and we strive endlessly to do our very best for each of them."
The report also gave the school some areas for improvement saying: "Teachers do not use assessment effectively in some subjects. They do not make the right checks to ensure that pupils are remembering their learning."
Teachers were advised to revisit subjects in order to cement key knowledge.
