A PUB best known for its 'rural charm' is offering residents a warm space this winter as the cost of living crisis continues to bite.
As energy prices continue to soar into unaffordable territory, The Camp House Inn, Grimley is offering residents from Hallow Parishes and Grimley a warm and safe space this winter.
The pub has been running for 84 years and landlord Jim Wainwright is hoping to give back to the community.
Every Thursday during the winter months the pub is offering residents free hot drinks and somewhere warm to sit.

Mr Wainwright's daughter Jo Scarrott, who also works at the pub, said: "We have heard other people do it and thought because our trade is quite seasonal we are quite quiet in the winter.
"People are more than welcome to come down and use this space and we're inviting anyone who doesn't want to be alone or fork out the money for the heating."
Mrs Scarrott said residents will need to bring proof of address in order to qualify for the warm space.

"We are going to be supplying free teas and coffees.
"It is frustrating, we should not be in this situation in this day and age.
"However, you should not be dealing with it alone, people should not be struggling alone, even if they want to come in for moral support.
"This pub has been here for 83/84 years and we have always been part of the community and we always reach out.

"We can all share what we are having to go through.
"Thursday is our quietest day, but we have to have the lights on and heating on anyway.
"And we would rather offer that space to someone rather than them to be at home and suffering.
"We have had a tremendous amount of support on our Facebook page.
"People have offered to bring in biscuits and tea.
"There seems to be growing support and we have had contact from local community groups who have asked if they can spread the word and bring people down.
"The invitation goes out to anyone, we can cater to any age group."
