A WOMAN who fell down steps at M&S has praised the kind-hearted Good Samaritans who came to her aid.
Maggie Green was walking down the steps at M&S in Worcester High Street when she took a tumble and 'ended up in a heap' on Wednesday, November 9.

Mrs Green, who loves shopping in Worcester and describes the city as 'a calming influence', says she wants to get in touch with those who helped her, meet them and take them all out for a coffee as her way of saying thank you.
Mrs Green, who says her bruises are now healing, said: "Whilst coming down the steps of M&S in Worcester, I lost my footing and tumbled forward down the remaining steps.
"Luckily my friend was on hand to gather my scattered bags which was great.
"But more importantly, two total strangers came to my aid as well which made me feel very humbled and grateful.
"Sadly I have no idea who they were and hope, with the help of your readers they will know just how much their kindness means to me.
"I hope my recollection of these two Good Samaritans are sufficient for someone to recognise them.
"The lady came down the same stairs as me. I think her hair was on auburn/brown hair. She was wearing a black coat and carrying a dark-coloured handbag with a chain handle.
"She asked if I was ok and if I would like a glass of water. Having assured her I was ok and didn't need any water, she seemed reluctant to leave until I sat up.

"That's when I noticed the gentleman who must have come into the store from the High Street. He also wore a black coat but he had light hair and spoke with a quiet voice asking if he could help me up. Having said I would just sit where I was for a while, he said the same thing had happened to him recently in the St John's area."
Mrs Green, of Brierley Hill, said: "After a few minutes when I was able to stand again I became very hot so my friend suggested I sit on the bench to the right of M&S, which I did.
"However, the kind man had disappeared before I could thank him.
"To both of my Good Samaritan's thank you for your kindness and compassion, I'm a little bruised but I'll never forget the moment in time yesterday when you cared enough to help me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
