A 13-year-old from Worcester has been given a restraining order after committing an assault in the city earlier this year.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied carrying out the attack on April 27 but was found guilty of causing actual bodily harm at Worcester Youth Court on October 14.
Appearing at the court on Wednesday, November 9 to be sentenced, the youth was told not to contact his victim directly, indirectly or via social media until August 8, 2023.
A youth rehabilitation order was made, which means the teenager must take part in 10 days of ‘indirect community reparation’ and five days of a victim awareness programme.
His parents or guardian will also have to pay compensation of £250, court costs of £500 and a victim surcharge of £22.
