DRIVERS on a major route out of Worcester are being hit by travel delays this evening.
Traffic is queueing along London Road coming out of the city towards Whittington Road and the M5.
Roadworks further down London Road and more heavy rush hour traffic are causing long tailbacks to and from the city centre.
Elsewhere in the city, bus passengers travelling to and from Worcestershire Royal Hospital were told to catch the bus from nearby Newtown Road due to issues inside the hospital grounds.
Along with this, Bath Road also saw temporary lights installed earlier on November 8 to allow Cadent to track down and find a gas leak.
