An ARREST has been made following a break-in at a city centre petrol station over the weekend.
The Essar petrol station on Henwick Road was closed on Sunday (November 6) and police crime scene investigation vans were seen parked on the forecourt.
The entrance and exit of the garage were cordoned off and the prices for fuel were not displayed.
A neighbour of the property claimed that the garage had been "robbed", but a staff member for the garage confirmed to a Worcester News journalist that there was a break-in overnight.

"Thankfully not much was stolen, it seemed to be only cigarettes and sweets.
"None of us were here at the time of the break-in."
The garage is open as normal today.
West Mercia Police said cigarettes were stolen during the break-in.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "An arrest was made this morning.
"At around 7.30am on Sunday, we received reports of a break-in at MPK Garages Ltd at 243 Henwick Road.
"Crime scene investigators attended the scene and our investigation is ongoing."
