IT'S OFFICIALLY winter so that means it is usually raining outside and nobody can believe how dark it is by 5pm.

But that also means ITV's hit reality television show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here will be making a comeback on our TV screens. 

A new set of celebs have started jetting off to Australia before the show airs on Sunday, November 6, at 9pm on ITV. 

The 22nd season of I'm a Celeb is set to start earlier this year due to the Qatar Word cup taking place later in the month. 

Among the stars of this year's show is 2016's Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood, professional rugby player Mike Tindall and Loose Women's Charlene White. 

But loads of this year's contestants have visited Worcestershire in the past and we've put together a list of who, when and where? 

Chris Moyles 

Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles is set to appear in the Jungle and shared a video of him in Australia to his 3.5 million Twitter followers. 

 

He said: "Isolation at The Gold Coast continues!

"And Chris has been practising showering outside ‘washing my bits while wearing shorts’ 3 days to go!!"

The 48-year-old frequently visits Worcester and even brought his 90s Hangover set to Worcestershire Cricket Club on Friday, August 5.

Matt Hancock

The former Health Secretary was an unexpected twist in this year's line-up. 

 

Mr Hancock, who is the MP for West Suffolk, told The Sun why he had chosen to go into the jungle. 

He said: "I think it’s a great opportunity to talk directly to people who aren’t always interested in politics, even if they care very much about how our country’s run."

Mr Hancock has previously visited Worcester in 2019 to discuss the expansion of Worcestershire Royal Hospital's A&E department. 

Boy George

Boy George - whose real name is George O'Dowd - shot to worldwide fame in the early 1980s with Culture Club.

Ahead of entering the jungle the celebrity shared a photo on Twitter of him in a plane wearing a lion mask and said: "Why are in Australia Mr Lion? ‘I’m here to appear in a gay version of The Lion King….. The Lying Queen!"

In 2011, the 80s icon also came to Evesham just days after performing at the Royal Albert Hall on November 24 for the Prince's Trust.
