A TENANT landlady has become so accustomed to the ghosts in her pub she has started talking to them - but she said she would have a 'heart attack' if they replied.
The Retreat in Norton is tucked away into the depths of the countryside - which makes it the perfect location for ghosts according to Wendy Sayce.
Mrs Sayce and her husband Andrew have noticed supernatural activity taking place in the village pub since they moved in five years ago.
And even some of the customers are convinced there are ghosts residing in their village pub.

Residents and punters have noticed glasses flying off the tables and toys randomly turning on.
Mrs Sayce, age 53, said: "We are just used to the ghosts now.
"I do talk to them but if they answered me back I would probably have a heart attack."
But if she could talk to the ghosts, Mrs Sayce said she would ask them to tell her the lottery numbers.
"I told them not to come upstairs but that fell on deaf ears, my dog will growl at empty chairs and rooms because she thinks there is someone unknown upstairs.
"We have a psychic coming in on November 28.
"We are not scared, we don't get scared here.

"Although, it does make you jump sometimes.
"Not that long ago, I could hear a man mumbling and I said, 'can you stop mumbling you're scaring me' and he stopped.
"We just joke about it and a lot of our customers like to hear about it.
"I don't mind them being in the pub.
"We just want to know who they are and what they want.
"I also want to know how long they have been here.

"My eldest daughter does the cleaning at the pub and she heard a child say 'I'm behind you' but when she turned around nobody was there.
"We have a play area for toddlers and we have toys there that we have to physically turn off and they randomly turn on.
"And they turn on by themselves.
"Sometimes my granddaughter is playing in the play area and she is talking and I ask her who she is talking to and she says nobody.
"And the fact that it could be a child creeps me out."
