A HEADTEACHER has sought to reassure parents and guardians after social media posts raised concerns about a member of staff.
Dyson Perrins CE Academy headteacher wrote to parents to say the school was aware of posts on social media 'regarding a member of our staff and an incident outside school.'
Mike Gunston sought to reassure parents, guardians and pupils that the school was 'taking all necessary steps' to deal with any concerns.

Mr Gunston sent out an e-mail which read: "We are aware of social media posts regarding a member of our staff and an incident outside of school.

"The school has procedures in place for dealing with concerns and it is taking all necessary steps."
"We kindly request that parents do not contact the school asking for information as we are unable to share any details, and refrain from making comments on social media.
"We all communicate further at an appropriate time."
