A MARRIED at First Sight star has broken his silence after being arrested on suspicion of manipulative and coercive behaviour.
The show is a self-proclaimed experiment that scientifically matches people together who then meet for the first time on their wedding day.
On the show, George Roberts, from Worcester, was head over heels when he met April Banbury for the first time on their wedding day.
And the couple ended the show as one of the strongest couples in the season.
However, the Metropolitan Police arrested the TV star in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 26 after three of his ex-girlfriends raised concerns.
The ex-girlfriends made independent complaints about his alleged 'obsessive', 'manipulative' and 'abusive' behaviour.
However, Channel 4 defended its inclusion of Mr Roberts on the hit dating show despite calls for the show to be taken off air.
Since his arrest, the 40-year-old financial adviser, who lives in Malvern, thanked his 109,000 Instagram followers in a post about justice.
In an Instagram post, the dad-of-four quoted suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst which read: "Justice and judgement lie often a world apart."

"He was taken to a Worcestershire police station and subsequently bailed to return pending further enquiries.

"This follows an allegation of controlling and coercive behaviour and harassment reported to the Met on Monday, 26 September."
Although the couple ended the season smitten with each other, Ms Banbury has revealed to fans she is single. She said: "The traumas that have been brought on from this show have made me re-evaluate things.
"I really have and I’m not ashamed to admit, I have been seeing a therapist ever since."
Mr Roberts is a financial adviser and business owner from Worcester.
