FOLLOWING Worcester Warriors being placed into administration last month, there is finally some good news to report.
The University of Worcester Warriors (the club's womens team) had been suspended from all competition after the men's side was placed into administration at the end of September.
But the suspension for the women's side has been temporarily lifted due to certain conditions being met.
Funding and insurance for the women’s team has been secured and has therefore enabled the team to continue playing under a temporary licence whilst the administrators continue their work on a sale of the wider club.
This means the Allianz Cup fixture with Gloucester-Hartpury this Saturday will go ahead as scheduled at the Alpas Arena.
