CHILDREN are snapping up bottles of Prime Hydration from a convenience store despite the hefty £8 price tag.
Staff at Nisa Local, in Derwent Close, say youngsters are so desperate to buy the drink they think nothing of paying above the typical asking price.
Schoolchildren are queueing out the door to get their hands on bottles of Prime Hydration, created by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul.
They have even had to remove it from the fridges as children block the aisles gathering around to grab a bottle.
The drink is on sale at Asda on Silver Street for £2 a bottle but is often sold out within 30 minutes of restocking.
Ameer Khan, who is a shop assistant at Nisa Local, said: "It comes in on Friday and by Monday I have none at all, no matter how big the order is.
"Every ten minutes kids come back asking if it is here yet.
"Some even send their dads in.
