This year, schools will close well in advance of the big day giving people plenty of time to enjoy the festive activities taking place during the festive season.
On Saturday, December 17 is running a Christmas-themed day for children at Crumplebury Farm.
Families will be able to embark on a magical trail to find Santa's grotto and meet a few farm animals along the way.
Crumplebury will be open to all guests from 3pm and tickets will be required on the woodland walk and Santa experience.
People can also skip the outdoor activities and head straight to Sunken Terrace with an open fire and fresh food cooked by a chef.
