A PENSIONER from a town near Worcester has been fined after speeding in a BMW on the M5.
Bernard Robinson, 75, of Strensham Road, Upton-upon-Severn, drove the BMW X7 over 70 mph on the M5 Northbound between junctions eight and seven on March 22 2022.
Robinson pleaded guilty to the offence in a single justice procedure at Worcester Magistrates' Court on October 14 2022.
He was fined £560 and was made to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £56.
Robinson was also made to pay costs of pay £90 and his driving record was endorsed with four points.
He has until November 11 2022 to pay the total costs of £706.
