The Freemasons in Worcestershire are looking for new members.
Spokesman Ian Crowder said Freemasonry is a "national force for good", contributing more than £50m a year to charitable causes, medical research, and purchasing equipment for the emergency services – to say nothing of international relief effort as well as supporting charities and good causes at a local level.
Lodges across Worcestershire raise money or undertake practical effort to support worthwhile causes and have a lot of fun in the process.
Members meet regularly from between four and ten times per year and many are affiliated to more than one lodge – often because they have a personal interest or pastime they wish to share with like-minded people.
So if you into golf or football, motorcycles or classic cars, if you're Welsh or Scottish, like railways or rugby or are even interested in historic research, the surprising thing is that there is a lodge in Worcestershire where you will find like-minded people keen to share their enthusiasm: and contribute to society at the same time.
Several special interest lodges in the county have affiliations with similar ones elsewhere in the UK and even internationally, which can make fascinating opportunities for family events, visiting places of mutual interest and, above all, broaden social circles.
"The first step towards enjoying the camaraderie that goes with a special interest lodge is to find out about Freemasonry and all that it does," said Mr Crowder.
"Search online for ‘Worcestershire Freemasons’ which is a great resource with a huge wealth of fascinating information. The adventure starts there!"
