An EASTENDERS icon is coming to Worcester for a themed karaoke event this month.
Shaun Williamson, best known for his portrayal of Barry Evans, is hosting a 'Barrioke' night at Drummonds, on New Street.
A post on the Drummonds Facebook page from the Albert Square legend himself confirmed the event for Saturday, October 29, from 7pm.

Shaun Williamson said:"Hi everybody, Shaun Williamson here formerly Barry from EastEnders, formerly Barry from Eastenders, Barry for Ricky Gervais' Extras and I will be Barry in anything anybody is willing to pay me to be Barry in basically.
"I have an answerphone message that says hi, I'm cheap and I'll do it.
"I sing, I do comedy and I do tragedy. I can announce proudly that I am coming to Drummonds in Worcester on October 29 for a bit of 'Barrioke', Barry from EastEnders and karaoke, does what it says on the tin.
"But you are the star of the evening, each of you will join me on stage and sing your song in the form of a duet a trio.
"It could be a bit of Mustang Sally, Something Inside So Strong or Mamma Mia. Anything can happen and probably will."
The actor has amassed a cult following since he left Albert Square back in 2004 when his character was murdered by Janine Butcher who pushed him over a cliff.
Drummonds referred to Williamson as "the coolest man on TV".

It said: "There are icons of the silver screen, there are Oscar winners, Bafta winners and Golden Globe winners, but are there any of these global stars that you would rather sing with on stage than the coolest man of TV - Shaun Williamson.
"Shaun hosts the event with his usual trademark warmth and teasing banter, accompanying participants on stage, creating a riotous, joyous moment that people will never forget.
"This is the ultimate Insta moment, something people will talk about and want to be part of."
Tickets for the event start from £15, and can be purchased from See Tickets and Skiddle.
