A MAN has appeared in court ahead of a trial for allegedly committing fraud by using his uncle's bank card.
Oliver Brighton denies fraud by false representation and appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court for the latest hearing of the case on Tuesday, (October 11).
The 20-year-old, of Chestnut Walk, Worcester, and previously of Stalls Farm Road, Droitwich, is alleged to have committed the offence on February 22 this year.
The charge reads that Brighton allegedly made a gain for himself by making a false representation, using the card to withdraw £300 "which was and which he knew was or might be untrue or misleading".
The alleged victim is Nick Ross, his uncle.

Brighton appeared via videolink from HMP Hewell to the short hearing in which it was agreed Mr Ross could give evidence behind a screen in the courtroom.
Magistrates previously made a direction that, if Brighton represents himself at the trial, he will not be allowed to cross-examine his uncle during that part of proceedings.
Brighton was reminded by chairman of the magistrates bench Judith Hulland his expected three-hour trial will take place on November 7 at Worcester Magistrates Court, when he will be produced from custody.
Eleanor Peart prosecuted the case, Fergus Maxwell appearing for Brighton.
